As our Senior Project Manager Funding & Strategic Projects (m/f/d), you will play a key role in securing and managing public funding initiatives that support FMC’s growth and innovation strategy. You will lead funding projects in the areas of IPCEI and the European Chips Act, coordinate cross-functional project activities, and serve as the primary point of contact for funding providers and funding agencies throughout the entire project lifecycle. Your work will help drive strategic investments, ensure compliance with funding requirements, and contribute to the successful execution of FMC’s most important growth initiatives.

Role Overview
Must Have
- Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field; PhD and/or industry experience preferred
- More than 5 years of experience in funding project management
- Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams across technical, financial, and legal/IP functions
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new funding opportunities aligned with FMC’s technology roadmap.
- Support grant applications and reporting, including proposal writing, submission, and communication /negotiation with funding authorities on national and EU level.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry players and research institutions involved in joint projects.
- Engage with funding bodies and stakeholders to evaluate and pursue suitable grant calls.
- Develop and maintain a strong network in government and industry to stay informed on funding trends and opportunities.
- Participate in relevant events and meetings to strengthen FMC’s visibility and collaboration potential.
- Monitor and analyze funding landscapes to provide strategic input for FMC’s R&D and business development planning.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for innovative semiconductor technologies
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead across multiple functions
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Ideal fit
- Experience with IPCEI, the European Chips Act, or other publicly funded innovation projects is a strong plus
- Knowledge of ferroelectric HfO₂ memory technology is an advantage
